About the event

We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Andreas Meyer, CEO and founder of FGen.

Not sure that Big Pharma is the right fit for you? Get a first-hand look into the start-up culture! Dr. Andreas Meyer will share his experience about building a start-up from scratch and working in a start-up environment.

FGen was founded in 2011, as a spin-off company of our department. The company is active in the field of synthetic biology and high throughput screening. One of FGen’s proprietary technologies, the so called nanoliter-reactor platform, enables fast phenotypic screening of cellular libraries (up to 1 million clones per day). FGen offers services in the area of biological engineering and assay development for high throughput experimentation, either as CRO or as collaboration partner.

The event will be followed by a networking apéro where you will have the chance to talk to the speaker in an informal setting.
