Emily will be discussing how DNA synthesis tech- nology has evolved over the years, the groundbreaking silicon-based DNA writing platform developed by Twist Bioscience, and her thoughts on the future of synthetic biology. Emily has over 20 years of experience in the de novo DNA synthesis industry working on high-capacity DNA based information storage (Nature 2013), codon choice evolution (Science 2013) and target genome enrichment strategies.
