About the event

We are more than pleased to welcome Dr. Carole Ackermann, who did her master in economics and business administration at University of St.-Gall (HSG). She completed her education with a PhD in marketing also at HSG, where she now is senior lecturer for business administration. Besides having her own company, Diamondscull, which is investing in early stage companies in the technology/ICT field, Dr. Ackermann is a board member of Allianz Suisse, Plaston Group and WMPartners. Due to her commitment to entrepreneurship she was elected president of Business Angels Switzerland, co-president of Angels for Ladies, jury member of Venture Kick and Top 100 Startups.

Before founding Diamondscull, Dr. Ackermann was consultant and manager at Interbrand and Arthur Andersen as well as Director Corporate Communication & Investor Relations, Director Marketing and Director Corporate Development at SaurerGroup, a leading company in textile machinery and transmission systems. As Co-Investor and Chief Marketing & Sales Officer, Unit Head Medical and General Manager China she worked closely with Private Equity Investors in a global company in surface technology before she joined OphthaMetrics AG, a medical start-up company in ophthalmology, as CEO. She also served as board member of Lista Hoding AG and mentor of Aspire to bring diversity into the tech entrepreneurship space.
