About the event

The Life Science Zurich Young Scientist Network invites you to the 8th edition of the biggest life science career event in Switzerland – the Zurich Life Science Day 2017!

This year Professor Rolf Zinkernagel will be our keynote speaker. He is the 1996 Nobel Prize winner in Physiology or Medicine and was for many years the head of the Institute of Experimental Immunology, Zurich.

Following the keynote lecture, you will hear about job opportunities and interesting work experiences covering a range of topics, from science communication in Roche or clinical trials at Celgene to quality control at Akorn and R&D at Novartis. In addition, the ZLSD 2017 also hosts a large exhibition where you can talk directly with company representatives. Book one-on-one meetings with interesting companies, have your CV polished by career experts or have a professional photo taken for your CV.

If you want to learn more about Professor Zinkernagel’s groundbreaking discoveries in deciphering the mechanisms behind the immune recognition of virus infected cells or get yourself set on your future career path, then be sure to join us on the 8th of February 2017 in the Lichthof of the Irchel Campus at the University of Zurich.
