CSEM is a Research and Technology Organization (RTO) with the mission to support Swiss industry. Close to 500 scientists and engineers work on innovative technologies in the areas of Precision Manufacturing, Digital Technologies, and Sustainable Energy. CSEM’s headquarters are in Neuchâtel, Regional Centers are in Alpnach, Landquart, Zurich, as well as in Basel, a center which is currently being moved to the Swiss Innovation Park (SIP) in Allschwil and will host activities in Life Sciences. The Focus Area “Tools for Life Sciences” is an important part of CSEM’s Research Program.
